A post dated 1 March 2025 described the final loss of Golden Galleon.

The vessel was reportedly repainted in her World War II Royal Navy livery, then later left in a state of abandonment around two hundred yards downstream of Reedham Bridge on the Haddiscoe shore. She was eventually towed away and broken up.
